Club de Fútbol Monterrey announces that defender Karol Bernal closes her successful stage with the Rayadas. Karol arrived at Club de Fútbol Monterrey in the 2018 Apertura Tournament and, at just 15 years old, debuted as a professional in the Liga BBVA MX Femenil. In her first stage with Monterrey, Karol played 22 games and was part of the team that won the 2019 Apertura Tournament title. She was constantly called up to the Mexican Under-15 and Under-17 national teams. In December 2020, Bernal left for Chivas. Two years later, she returned to Rayadas with more experience and contributed to the 2024 bicampeonato. For her outstanding performances, Bernal was called up to the Mexican Women's National Team on several occasions. The Mexican defender played 137 games with Monterrey, which are distributed as follows: 128 in Liga BBVA MX Femenil, 2 in Campeón de Campeonas, 3 in Summer Cup and 4 in CONCACAF W Champions Cup.
