Club de Fútbol Monterrey and Dundee FC, from Scotland, strengthened their collaboration agreement to work on the formation, development, and projection of young players. Dundee FC executives visited the BBVA Stadium to reinforce collaboration strategies between the two clubs and update best practices to ensure more players have a projection in the European continent. As part of this exchange program, Aldahir Valenzuela, a Rayados Sub-21 player, will join Dundee FC on a six-month loan. The 18-year-old forward made his debut with the First Team of Rayados in February 2025 and was called up to the Mexican Under-20 National Team in the latest convocation. This opportunity will allow him to compete in a high-demand environment, acquire international experience, and accelerate his professional development process in European football. César Garza, a player from the Monterrey Basic Forces, recently had an important experience in his development, having spent a year at Dundee FC on loan. During this European experience, he was called up to the Mexican Under-20 National Team that competed in the World Cup of the category. In contrast, Scottish player Finlay Robertson, from Dundee, trained with Rayados and Rayados Sub-21 for several weeks to generate formative experience. This agreement aims to have more players with the same projection and better development in the lower categories. As part of this agreement, the launch of an alternative Dundee FC jersey inspired by a classic Rayados design was also carried out. Dundee FC is part of the International Partner Clubs network of Club de Futbol Monterrey, which has presence in the United States, Canada, and Scotland.
