Aldahir Valenzuela, forward of Club de Fútbol Monterrey, joins Dundee FC on loan until summer 2026. The 18-year-old player has already played three games with the first team of the Rayados. His base team was the Sub 21 of the regional team and according to Dundee, "he spent a brief period in Dundee during the summer as a trial player". The Scottish club announced his signing through their social media: "Dundee Football Club is pleased to announce the signing of forward Aldahir Valenzuela, from C.F. Monterrey, on loan until summer 2026, subject to international approval. Aldahir signs as part of our strategic alliance with the Rayados", it reads in the statement. In the same, he is described as "promising" and informed that the technical staff identified him as "a great promise". The forward himself has already spoken about his signing: "I feel very proud to join Dundee FC. It's a new challenge to join this great club and I hope to contribute as much as possible during my stay here". It was also announced that Aldahir will wear the number 38 jersey in Dundee. Recently, the Scottish team has recruited several Mexican players, including Víctor López (Gallos), César Garza, Diego Pineda (Venados) and Antonio Portales (Tampico Madero).
